What is stress, and how does the body respond to it? Understanding this will help you to manage stress, recharge your energy and recover more quickly from illness and injury. You can also use these techniques to help family and friends, or your clients and patients if you are a health practitioner.

This workshop's practical procedures will use muscle testing (sometimes called "muscle monitoring" as a practical bio-feedback mechanism. Muscle testing of this nature was first demonstrated in 1947.

K-Power® is a series of enjoyable, hands-on health & wellness workshops for professional development, self-care and community education. Learn valuable skills and techniques you can use quickly, easily and safely to improve mental wellbeing, physical wellness and function in yourself and others, bringing the body back into balance.
K-Power® has been developed by Dr Bruce and Joan Dewe, and aims to help health and care practitioners contribute to their clients’ overall wellbeing by bridging the gap between conventional and alternative treatments. K-Power® aims to treat not only the physical but also the mental, emotional and metaphysical aspects of health and wellbeing.

A lot of the medicine and some therapies treat the signs and symptoms of illness. When the person returns to the natural point their expertise ends.
K-Power® aims to educate the person so that they can choose to move beyond natural and have the power to achieve high levels of wellness and vitality.
We work with the energy model, not the so-called medical model. So we say so-called medical model because most natural therapies use the same model as medical doctors. (The client has signs and symptoms of a named disease these practitioners make a diagnosis and prescribe a remedy or treatment – natural or pharmaceutical to eliminate the symptoms.)
The energy model we work with energy systems in the body and everything we do, say, or suggest that the client improvement is aimed at restoring the flow of their own natural energies and helping them achieve their maximum potential as a human being.
